As sole distributor for EKA’s exciting and innovative Colloidal Silica range, Chemcolour are now able to offer Bindzil and Cembinder products and their unparalleled versatility and high performance within the following applications:
o Construction The Cembinder product range offers increased control and strength in cementing operations both above and below ground. o Coatings Colloidal silica is used alone, or in combination with other materials, to improve surface properties o Beverages Colloidal silica is used as a fining agent for wine and fruit juice, normally combined with gelatin and/or bentonite. This has the effect of improving the taste, appearance and shelf life of the beverage. o Foundry There are few places where precision, strength, safety and reliability are more important than in a foundry. Team Expansion
We pride ourselves on working in cohesive teams which provide solutions for our customers specific needs. We have recently enhanced one of our industry portfolios with the addition of an Account Manager – Janine Hastie and two Technical Consultants - Ravi Mehra and Carl Bigley.
Janine Hastie is an Account Manager focusing on allocated accounts in the Film & Foil, Plastics, Adhesives, Building Products, Coatings and Inks. Janine brings 15 years experience in a wide range of chemical fields including surface coatings, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, toiletries and food. Janine has a sound knowledge of industrial manufacturing, compliance and testing, all skills which assist Janine in her role of providing solutions to our customers business needs.
Ravi Mehra Ravi’s primary focus is the technical development of dispersions to the surface coatings, building products, adhesives and ink industries. Ravi provides specialist technical and sales support for both agencies and customers.
Carl Bigley Chemcolour is fortunate to have secured the expertise of Carl Bigley who is a specialist in the field of concrete additives and colloidal silica applications. Carl provides Chemcolour with technical support which in turn assists us in providing the most innovative, cost effective solutions for our customers.
